Before you get started, here are a few things you can do to set the mood:

  • Choose a quiet, comfortable place where you won't be disturbed (preferably not under the sea!)

  • Set aside 30-45 minutes -- the meditation takes 20 minutes but it can be helpful to journal afterwards or just take a few minutes to think about your experience before you jump back into everyday life.

  • Have an eye mask and/or aromatherapy oils handy to up the relaxation factor.
